Hangover Meal

Last night, I was getting ready to retire to bed when my fiancé told me to get dressed. We went to a bar where a friend of his had a gig that night. The show was for his friend's upcoming album release. The band basically plays a myriad of genres which gives them such a unique sound. After the event, the bar owners were giving away vodka shots. I took those bad boys with my sister in law to be.

After two vodka shots...

Toni: lalalalala Can you scratch my face?
*errbody laughs at me in the car*

Next thing I knew, I was half awake and alone in the car while Jordan and his sister got some food from Yoshinoya. I don't recall most of the car ride but I do know that I woke up with a couple of bruises and slept like a baby last night.

The following morning:

I woke up with a headache. Lets say it was a hangover. Maaaybe it was. *whistles* Everyone was teasing me about being a lightweight and I'm now officially this week's butt of the joke. We were all hankering for burgers so we filled our bellies with Michael's Burgers for brunch.

I've got a happy stomach now. It was yumyum in the tumtum! If you live in L.A. and happen to have a hankering for burgers, try this place. Aside from IN-N-OUT, Michael's Burgers takes the cake for the best burgers in town! The patty is so succulent and tasty that you won't even need condiments for their burgers. One thing I did notice is that they don't put pickles in their burgers. I like pickles. I missed out on that one. I'm picky when it comes to burgers because I abhor greasy food and this had close to no grease. The chili cheese fries on the other hand were okay; it wasn't the greatest one I've tried. For chili cheese fries, drive by Tommy's.

Michael's Burgers is a lot better than fast food! Their quick service and affordable prices makes me frequent the place. Drop by and experience their burgers which are loaded with flavor!

Oh! I'll be having oatmeal tomorrow morning. Can I get a "L.O.L." ?

  1. Hey Toni! Thanks for your comment about lomography on my blog! Great to see someone else who appreciates this also! I've actually seen a couple of blogs focusing on it, the next time I find one I'll let you know.
I've just recently started snapping away with my Holga, can't wait to see the effects! You should put some film in your Diana and start, it's fun. I can't wait to see what the results are.
Your blog is great, very funny and insightful :) Those burgers look like the best hangover food ever created!
    Following you :)

  3. Hi Claire! Thanks for following me. :) I'm glad that I came across someone who knows about Lomography. :) I have this one blog that sells cameras though she's all the way in Asia! Do you want the link so you can take a peek at her products?

You gotta upload some photos for me to look at! I like how rustic it is. Pretty cool for such a low-tech gadget, eh? The film is expensive! :O

The burger was seriously good! It's something I don't mind eating over and over.

@Sanny Thank you! I was in my nook thinking of what to write about and then I started drawing. LOL.

  6. Yep the film is expensive, with the Holgas it's about $1 a print, and more to get developed :S It's lots of fun to play around with though, and a lot cheaper than Polaroids! I've only just started getting into lomography myself, so I can't claim to be an expert at all! Just something I've been wanting to do for ages, so have read a bit about it.
That would be great if you could post the link to that site you mentioned! :)

@Pao Thanks! It was a must for my drunken brain to do that. lol.

@KittyBonkers Thank you! I guess that drawing wasn't so bad after all. lol. I really did have fun. The band was great! :)

@Cecilia's Heart It is a tad pricey but it's a great hobby that's worth sustaining. Polaroids are actually rather nifty too but the colors that come with Lomography just lure me in! Here's the link. ;)

  12. Yum, that looks amazing!!! Thanks so much for stopping by. I didn't make this necklace - but it looks like just some gauzy ribbon shaped into flowers, rhinestones in the center, and some grosgrain (Sp?) ribbon around the neck!

  13. Thanks for that link, her site looks amazing, so many products!! I had no idea there were so many lomo cameras. I think I'll have to see what I can do with my Holga before I buy any other cameras though! :) Have a nice day! :)
