One Week Hiatus

I'll be on a one week hiatus albeit more time is needed for me to spare. The hubsters and I are moving to a different city so next week will be a rather frenzied time for us. I just reached a total of 10 giveaway winnings so I thought of showing you my goodies! (I will do so as soon as I receive them all.) I plan on doing a mascara review on this great bargain I found on Haute Look! I have things lined up so I'm not slacking as much as you think I am. L-O-L.

On a sad note, my sister's dog met her demise yesterday. Boo was such a good dog. She mastered a few tricks within a short amount of time. "Sit, lay down, BANG!". This was an unfortunate accident. Someone poisoned her one night and she was found feeble in the morning. We'll miss this beagle

R.I.P. Boo! :(
She wasn't even two years old.

What a jolly doggy!

I'm Showing Some Love Today

Today, I will be commenting on every blog I follow that has been updated within the past week. I'm sad to see how some of the blogs I've been following have gone awry. Come back, blogeristas!

Expect me to drop by your pages, lovelies! If you want me to comment on any of your posts, just say so. I'll check on the ones who comment on my posts too, of course!

Oh! I'm sure you've all heard of sticker skins for laptops but I was psyched when I found out about fur sticker skins. I want one and found it over that this site for $12!

Isn't it a beauty?

If only tokidoki had sticker skins, I would most definitely have that on my laptop! My 12-incher (teehee... ay cochina!) is the perfect size for me as I abhor having to lug around bulky electronics.

As a reminder, my $25 Apothica Gift Card Giveaway will begin on January 24, 2011 so keep your luscious eyes peeled! I'm thinking of maybe doing a post of all the freebies I got online since I joined the blogging community. What do you think?

Felíz Año Nuevo

This year has been a significant year for me. I moved halfway around the world, got married and joined the blogging community.

I'm grateful for all the rekindled friendships, sustained relationships with good friends back home and new friends I've acquired since I arrived in the States.

Being that I've never had any New Year's resolutions, I figured to start one for next year. This is an appropriate time for me to reform my habits.

1. I think girls will agree with me on this one. I will adhere to my diet.  You see, I'm trying so hard not to laugh right now since I'm thinking...

...but I will stay true to my word this time around. If I want to have any babies in the future, I need a bangin' body sometime soon. Not for anyone else but myself. Slowly but surely.

2. I should strictly follow my list during trips to the grocery store. It may seem trivial but all these things add up in the end. I'm worse during trips to the mall so my husband has developed telepathy in the span of time we've been married.

Toni: Papi... Can we? *Jordan interrupts*
Jordan: I don't like the mall. We don't need anything right now.
Toni: But there's a huge sale. We'll save upto 80% off on... *Jordan interrupts*
Jordan: 20% out of my wallet, right?
Toni: You know what, I didn't feel like it anyway. :s

3. Put some money aside for a rainy day and a dream vacation to New York! My husband and I want to go cross country before we have children but our hopes for next year is a three day vacation to either New York or Catalina Island.

Despite the trials and tribulations, I have my alma gemela by my side who's my rock. Te amo, mi vida! All I want is a happy marriage and a stable life. Bless my family back home. I wish I could celebrate it with you. Distance isn't a detriment in relationships for genuine love can surpass that. I love you, mom!

A massive thank you to my blogger friends!

Dhila, Mimi, Rinz, Vintage and Cake, Caro, Evey, Christina, MINAKICHU, jamie-lee, Lalaine, Ares, Laura, Curves Ahead Makeup, Sanny, The Girl with Pearl Earrings and to the new fabulous ladies such as La Cabrona, Leslie, Becky, Jocee and Fifi.

If I'm missing any names, it's because I'm writing this at 2:00am.

Enjoy the remainder of 2010 and have a prosperous New Year!

Seasons Greetings

I'd like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas!
Overindulge and unbutton those jeans.
Lets worry about the excess calories in January!

I'll be watching my family on Skype tonight as they celebrate Noche Buena in the Philippines.
I'm hoping that everyone remembers the true meaning of Christmas.
It's not all about the presents.

Esta noche es Noche-Buena, Y no es noche de dormir

A nippy Christmas in California from me to you!

I Bid You Adieu

... for about five days! :)

By the time I finish composing this entry, I'll be heading out to LAX to fetch my mom. The last time I saw her was in August so she's coming to visit me for two weeks.

My mom, Jordan and I will be driving to the City of Sin - Las Vegas this coming Monday through Wednesday so I'll give you an update on our out-of-town trip. As it is a tradition for Jordan, we'll be filling our bellies with IN-N-OUT burgers on the way to Vegas and back.

Oh yeah! I went to Molly's in Hollywood today. (It's a rickety burger shack.)
There's a good reason why it still remains standing to this day.
Yes, a scene in Constantine was filmed there.

Molly's Hamburgers 1605 Vine st. Hollywood, CA 90028

My fiancé and I are attending a Halloween Costume Party on the 30th. I'm going as a gypsy and Jordan as hmm... I don't know. The only character that comes to mind is Quasimodo but he snarled at me for that. What else could he be?

So, I guess not? *snickers*

Here's something I'd like to leave you with for your entertainment while I'm away. I promise to catch up on the comments as soon as I get back from the trip! ;)

A Collection of My Top 10 Picks

Beginning on Thursday, I will be publishing an installment of my Top 10 Picks. I will add more to the collection on a bi-weekly basis. The list will range from my personal favorite music finds to the quintessential cartoons of the nineties. I already have a couple of entries lined up for the series though ideas don't flow like water. Trimming down the choices to the final ten was harder than I initially thought. Tell me what topic you want featured in my Top 10 Picks so I can disclose my respective selections.

Any suggestions? :)
